NEW YORK -- The New York Giants today announced a partnership with Rival, the leading fan engagement platform for sports and entertainment, to launch Giants Gaming, a new online community designed to bring fans closer to the team through interactive gaming, competitions, and exclusive rewards.
The Giants Gaming experience will give fans of all ages the opportunity to compete in video game tournaments, participate in quick-play challenges, take part in sweepstakes and surveys, and earn points redeemable for Giants merchandise, tickets, and VIP experiences. Accessible year-round, the community offers a new digital destination for Giants fans to connect, compete, and celebrate their passion for Big Blue.
“The launch of Giants Gaming continues our mission to expand the brand into verticals that demonstrate strong engagement across our core growth priorities,” said Nilay Shah, Giants SVP Marketing & Brand Strategy. “We have seen firsthand through our work with creators how passionate the gaming world is amongst our fanbase, and with the launch of this new platform, we’re creating a community where fans can connect, compete and celebrate their shared passion.”
Through Rival’s white-labeled platform, Giants Gaming will feature fully branded tournaments, leaderboards, and fan profiles, along with integrations for sponsorship activations and community content. The partnership also allows the Giants to collect valuable first-party fan insights to enhance the overall fan experience.
"The New York Giants are one of the NFL’s most storied franchises, with a legacy built on putting their fans first,” said Matt Virtue, Rival CEO. “Giants Gaming extends that tradition into a new digital arena — giving fans more ways to connect, compete, and be rewarded for their loyalty. We’re proud to help the Giants deliver on their commitment to fans in a way that matches the passion and history of Big Blue."
Fans can now join Giants Gaming by creating a free account at www.rivalx.com/nygiants. The first tournament, a 48-hour Madden NFL 26 competition, kicks off September 4.
